Unloading, Transporting, Storing and Assembly

Safe transport, storage and assembly of Mekpan Panel products plays a critical role in ensuring long-term performance of the products. Certain rules and methods to be followed during the relevant processes prevent damage to the products and ensure successful completion of the projects.

Unloading

Appropriate equipment such as forklifts or cranes must be used during the unloading of sandwich panels. The surfaces of the panels must be protected against scratching or damage, and direct contact of the panels with the ground must be prevented. In particular, during the unloading process with a crane, panels should not be lifted from the ends, but should instead be supported from the middle of the panel.

Transportation

Panel packages should be properly secured and protected against shock during the transportation of sandwich panels. Panels should be transported horizontally and overloading or bending should be avoided. Protective covers should be used to prevent scratching and damaging the surfaces of the panels during transportation.

Storage

Sandwich panels should be protected against external factors and stored on a suitable surface. The storage area should be a dry and flat surface, and the panels should not be exposed to direct sunlight. In addition, the panels should not be stacked too much on top of each other and protective materials should be placed between each panel.

Mounting

It is important to align and fix the panels correctly during assembly. The assembly process should be carried out in accordance with the intended use of the panels and attention should be paid to the joints of the panels. In addition, the use of appropriate fasteners during assembly ensures that the panels are fully integrated into the structure. Necessary insulation measures should be taken against water and air tightness problems that may occur during the assembly process.
